Eliane Bodanese

Dr. Eliane L. Bodanese MSc, PhD, MIEEE, MIET joined the Electronic Engineering Department at Queen Mary in 2003. She is a senior lecturer and a member of the Networks Research Group. Dr Bodanese received her Electrical Engineering degree from the Federal University of Parana (Brazil) and her M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (Brazil). In 2000, she received her Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering from Queen Mary, University of London (UK). Her doctorate work was a precursor in the use of intelligent software agents for resource management in wireless networks. This work received a prize award and lead to an EU IST project (SHUFFLE). She has performed research on middleware development for distributed systems, Quality of Service (QoS) provisioning in cellular and ad hoc networks, intelligent mechanisms for heterogeneous wireless environments and context aware sensor networks. She is a member of the Technical Committee of the International Academy, Research and Industry Association (IARIA) - ICDT conference, and reviewer of journals and many IEEE conferences.
